It's happened again! Another XRP price glitch is send shocking waves throughout the XRP community, giving every a fresh dose of hopium and fueling conspiracy theories. This time, on November 26 2025, it was the Signapore-based Phemex Exchange where the erroneous price was spotted:
Holy moly, 84k! As it turns out, it may have been a temporary chart glitch of Phemex's end which was fixed almost immediately. Whether the error was caused by a faulty data aggregator or an error in the automated process is yet to be seen, but it was most likely not a "foreshadowing," as some in the crypto community are calling it. Some are even calling the whole incident a fake.
There are a lot of XRP hodlers that would love to see it at $84k/token, maybe myself included, but let's be real here.
The hypothetical market cap of XRP, at $84,074 per token would be $5,067,857,367,468,000 or $5.067 QUADRILLION. That number dwarfs the Global GDP, which clocked in at $111 trillion in 2024. So again, let's use our heads here.
This isn't the first "price glitch" that's been attached to XRP this year. On November 19 2025, Kraken briefly flashed a looooooong candle with a huge wick on the XRP chart, which took it up to $91:
"What in the world is going with XRP?" this may cause you to think. It's just a price glitch. Since both events were isolated to individual exchanges and didn't show on chart across the entirety of the crypto market, there's really not much more to it. Sure, we all love to imagine what our holdings will equal to, should these lofty prices come to fruition but it's a fantasy.
