Addison, an odd receptacle. Construction prints. Addison knew how to read prints better than anyone, from his New Jersey beginnings in the construction field, and his smarts, which no degree of crack abuse seemed to diminish. I remember one day a...

Our House in Caguas

Strange cohabitation. Cluster …uck. The second week into this project Sanita had left with Willy for Florida. The job was so problem plagued I had little time to think about them. I only drove back to Rincon one weekend in the next eight, expe...

Short lived pleasures. Kim as Willy’s mother for a minute. One setback in my personal life, just before the Caguas mall, was that Victor told me I had to return the Vitara. It was finally repo’d. It was one of his raffle cars before our partners...

Laura and Joe

The Bamboo house. One outer side of Joe’s large bamboo house. Laura and her husband Joe were also some of my closest friends in Rincon. Laura was probably Sanita’s closest friend, partly due to ride-sharing Sammy and Will to the Seso school, (the...

In the following segments of my autobiography, describing what I must admit were easily my darkest days, some of my readers might consider me an idiot to be so blatantly honest and a fool for displaying myself so nakedly. I cut myself, and sometimes...

Star-crossed again

Star-crossed again. Lost. Kim had a few similarities to Sanita’s troubled soul but on a much lesser scale. First of all I could always reason with her and she understood and enjoyed talking with me. She told me her boyfriend sometimes hit her, the...
