WHO IS RIPPLE? Ripple is a real-time gross settlement system, currency exchange and remittance network ... Ripple relies on a common shared ledger, which is a distributed database storing information about all the Ripple accounts.

I'm here in the State of Florida and my Uncle in the Philippines needs me to send him $10,000, now you know that with the traditional way, it's going to take days to send that money, and the bank is going to ask you 1,001 questions on what your going to be doing with your OWN PERSONAL MONEY!
Guess what?! Those 1001 questions and turtle slow transactions are a thing if the past!
