Ripple SCORES A HUGE DEAL and Partners with Thailand's Oldest Bank(SCB)! They will be working on creating an APP for CROSS BORDER PAYMENTS!
Siam Commercial Bank Has said that it will be using ripples block chain technology, SCB is the Oldest bank in Thailand And has been around for 112 years and has grown to a Massive customer base of Well OVER 15 MILLION CUSTOMERS! This Partnership will be big for Both Ripple and XRP! As I believe they'll be connecting directly to ODL thats ran with XRP for Liquidity! Are the times changing? Will The 20's see a New King? According to Ripple, on January 8, they were working on a mobile app named SCB Easy! So that they can give their customers a fast and seamless international payment(s) experience!
Based on this article from zycrypto.com they've shared a survey taken by PwC that shows 86% of China's population rely on Mobile Apps and out of that 86%, 67% of this Population is based out of Thailand and 8 out of the top 10 Countries where mobile payments are EVERYTHING come from Asia!!
I believe this is going to be absolutely HUGE FOR THE RIPPLE COMPANY AND THE DIGITAL ASSET (XRP)
