Despite the war in Ukraine and widespread inflation, the international Swiss bank Credit Suisse predicts that the number of millionaires on Earth will grow significantly in the next five years. By 2026, there would be 87.5 million people in the world who would have just under one million euros or one million dollars in their bank account.

In 2021, there were 62.5 million millionaires in the world.

The number of millionaires is increasing (so it is the number of poor people) - especially in growing economies, while an almost one-time increase in the number is predicted for China.
