It looks at the target price for the next 7 years and how much you may need to invest. 

Simply fill in your annual expenses. It will calculate your targetted retire amount (25x). And if you follow the rule to withdraw just 4% each year, with a reasonable investment, you would be able to retain your principle for life and retire.
