Clinicoin is a health and wellness blockchain platform that rewards users with a cryptocurrency called CLIN token for taking part in health, wellness, and research activities. The mission is to connect health and wellness seekers including but not limited to health care providers, researchers, developers and day to day users that are dedicated to healthier lifestyles; using a rewards-based ecosystem. App developers can test out their health apps by connecting them to the platform encouraging users to test them out using CLIN tokens as incentives.

Users, providers, researchers, and developers interact on the platform through app connection. App developers connect their health application onto the Clinicoin platform and providers such as trainers, coaches, clinicians, and instructors can run an activity or class, on which users can participate. The class/activity registered generates a QR code on a smartphone. Then the class/activity participants scan the QR code with their phones to get credit for the healthy event to earn CLIN tokens. The leader of the activity also earns CLIN tokens for the event as an IRL (In Real Life) Validator.
Another way users can earn rewards for participation in healthy activities is through logging healthy activities into the Clinicoin app that then get tracked by third parties which are called PoEV (Proof of Engagement Validators). Users can also earn CLIN tokens through TDEs (Token Distribution Events). During these events, providers provide tokens to users when users complete tasks like taking surveys or participating in studies. Once the asked upon task is completed and validated, the provider distributes Clin tokens to the user via their Clinicoin wallet. CLIN token can be used in the Clinicoin marketplace; Where health beneficial products and services are available for purchase.

All users on the Clinicoin platform also have the ability to message safely and privately on the platform via encrypted messaging which is reportedly secure enough to meet HIPAA and 21 CFR 11 standards. The platform interacts with the Ethereum blockchain, with End to End Encryption Messaging (E2EE), a Transaction Processing System (TPS), and an Automated Smart Contract System (RPC). CLiIN is listed on tokenjar based on the 0x protocol.
