When Grace Descends

Though storms arise and countless tempests roar,
The soul that trusts in God shall fear no more;
When grace descends upon the wounded heart,
The darkest night must yield and fall apart.

Though Fortune turn her face and close the door,
His mercy opens paths unknown before;
What seems a loss beneath the veil of time
May hide a blessing shaped by hands divine.

Though sorrow lays its shadow on the soul,
His unseen hand can make the broken whole;
And when the road is buried under pain,
He brings the morning softly through the rain.

If every earthly friend should disappear,
His quiet presence remains ever near;
When human arms can hold you nevermore,
His mercy waits beside the heart’s closed door.

When prayers seem lost within the silent sky,
And unanswered questions teach the heart to cry,
He hears the words that trembling lips have said,
And knows the secret tears that must be shed.

The seed must sleep beneath the silent ground
Before its hidden garden can be found;
So too the soul, beneath the weight of night,
May rise transformed and blossom into light.

If hostile winds should shake your fragile sail,
Trust not the storm, nor tremble at its wail;
For God can guide the vessel through the foam
And lead the wandering heart safely home.

If enemies conspire and shadows rise,
Their schemes are but a whisper in His eyes;
No mortal hand can thwart what He has planned,
For all the world's affairs rest in His hand.

O heart, do not despair when hope seems far,
The darkest night still knows what mornings are;
Beyond the clouds the hidden heavens gleam,
And dawn is closer than the heart may dream.

Do not despair when destiny delays,
For God prepares His wonders in His ways;
The flower does not command the time to bloom,
Yet spring arrives and fills the earth with perfume.

The tears you shed alone beneath the night
May turn to pearls beneath eternal light;
And every wound that time has carved in you
May open paths to something bright and new.

We cannot read the wisdom of the skies,
Nor know the secret written in our lives;
But He who formed the stars and knows their place
Has measured every moment with His grace.

So give your weary heart into His care,
And leave your deepest burdens with Him there;
For what appears today a bitter scar
May be the road that leads you where you are.

If all the world should turn its face away,
Still shall His mercy meet you every day;
And if the gates of earth are closed and still,
The gates of Heaven open by His will.

Let not the noise of passing crowds deceive,
Nor let the world's cold judgment make you grieve;
For those who walk beneath the light of God
Can rise again when earthly paths are flawed.

When life becomes a desert without rain,
His mercy can make roses bloom again;
Where you see ashes scattered on the ground,
His breath can bring a garden back around.

So fear no storm, however fierce it seems,
For faith is stronger than the tyrant's dreams;
And when the final shadows lose their sway,
His grace will turn the darkest night to day.

Though countless forces rise against the light,
And sorrow wages war throughout the night,
The heart that rests beneath His endless grace
Shall find its dawn, and find its resting place.

For kingdoms fade, and earthly glories die,
Like clouds that wander through the morning sky;
But love divine shall never cease to be,
Nor shall His mercy ever set us free.

O soul, remember when the road is steep:
The hand of God is near when shadows creep;
And though you walk through valleys cold and wide,
His unseen light shall always be your guide.

So let the world bring thunder, grief, and rain,
Let every trial knock upon your pane;
For storms may bend the branches of the tree,
But roots made strong in God shall ever be.

And when your strength has vanished from your frame,
Call on the One whose mercy has no name;
For in the silence, when no voice is heard,
He answers even prayers without a word.

Thus, though a thousand tempests cross the land,
The fate of every heart rests in His hand;
And when His grace descends from realms above,
All fear grows still beneath the wings of love.
