On this day of the Next Day of the Samain, I see that many of you have survived, and I hope so thanks to the wise advice and support of all Rapids teams around the world, and especially Rapids Outreach for reminding us how important this date was, that's why we decided to set our Halloween events on this Celtic Year End Calendar and the beginning of a new year
We are happy that you have all been able to save your soul for another year.
Because I think you all know it, or at least we reminded you yesterday:
"The Celts thought that, on the night of Samain (the night of the full moon), the boundaries between the worlds of the dead and the living were created and that spirits came to visit the living, losing the time of one night their invisibility.
There are many anecdotes about this Celtic festival, including my favorite, to prevent the spirits that became visible from haunting them, the Celts had some rituals including dressing in terrifying costumes to scare the ghosts (and thus avoid being dragged across the street) and gathering to celebrate, around a fire, on the evening of the last full Moon in October/Celtic Year."
At Rapids Network we are happy that you have enjoyed with us, this protective fire allowing you to survive this terrible night of full moon, finally closing a year, and leaving the way for a new one, where everything remains to be written and discovered.
During these Samain holidays, the Celts used to celebrate 6 days of celebration, 3 days before the Samain, and 3 days after this event
And as this ancient tradition of more than 3000 years old wants it, today is the first day of a new year (according to Celtic ancestral traditions)
To do this, we too continue the festivities (I remind you that there are still 3 days of festivities, today included, to respect the tradition, but within the Rapids Community, we like to have fun, so we will make the pleasure last much longer than 3 days, we will have a full year to atone for our sins and try to survive the next Samain hahahahah)
