The wonderful Oreo is a sandwich-style dessert wafer that has two parts of crunchy cookie, the color of dark Mahogany wood in between a dark brown and black. The center of the cookie pieces beholds an emblazoned OREO logo in the same color, with fascinating designs and shapes engulfing the rest of the cookie in a maze, and mildly textured edges. Stuffed between the cookie parts is smooth cream white as sail, speckled with cookie crumbs and irresistible. Sometimes I even eat the filling first and the cookie part later. Paired with milk, it’s a heavenly and unique treat!

As I swiftly slid into my chair, I examined the Oreo in front of me. The textured, dark cookie with many little details and a big fat “OREO” stamped on it. Of course, the creamy filling as well. Only a true artist and magician could have made a masterpiece like this. The sweet scent grew stronger as I drew closer to the Oreo. Waiting no longer, I took a bite of the cookie. I paid attention to no sound other than the crunch of the Oreo as it shifted around in my mouth, gently being taken apart, then carried down my throat and into my stomach. It was heaven. The cookie part was crunchy, yet not too hard on the teeth, and the filling was the cherry on top, adding a vibrance and completed the Oreo cookie’s taste. The sail white cream was softer than a pillow and combined with the rigidness of the cookie part struck a balance that spoiled my taste buds. While only one piece, it unlocked a world of satisfaction for my mouth. I couldn’t stay away from the cookie long and took another bite, then another, and then it was all consumed. I grinned as the last bit of the cookie went down. Once my tastebuds were done enjoying, I eagerly hopped out of the chair, refreshed and energized for the remainder of the day.
