Guys I really love Publish0x and what it offers. I think it's a great platform to earn Crypto, to find useful information and learn. With that being said no website is perfect and no one person's view on what it should be is correct for everyone else. But after spending a year or so on the platform there are a few things I wish changed. And to be honest maybe some of these are possible and I just don't know how to do them.
1) Choose your Crypto
2) More detailed stats
3) Convert your crypto
4) Better post formatting options
5) Options to edit 'toolbar'
1) Choose your Crypto
Now here me out on this one guys. I know it is probably not realistic to choose which crypto you want to tip with on any given article. It would probably lead to 1 token being used more than others. At the same time I really wish there was a way for authors to select which crypto they would prefer to receive from tips people leave on their articles.
It would work something like I go into my dashboard as an author. And there would be a new blue icon labeled "tips" and there you would go to select from the available cryptocurrencies, which one you want to receive when someone tips an article of yours. I think it would be a nice way for authors to earn the token they really want. While at the same time not changing anything for the readers.
This way say if all authors picked BAT as the token they wanted to receive, it could still give the reader whatever token isn't used as much.
Here is my terrible photoshop rendering of what it could look like. (The icon is supposed to be 3 coins staked on each other).

2) More detailed stats
I like the stats we as authors have currently. However I wish there was more. You can see on which days of the month you got views and how many. You can see the lifetime views, tips, thumbs up/down each article got.
What I would love to see is more than 30 days of stats on a specific article. If I wrote a article in January and it is December I would be curious to know how many views I got each month for instance.
For all the non authors out there, here is the "Stats Overview" page for authors.

It shows me what views I had in this month. I wish I could change it to see how many tips I got each day as well. Or how many likes I got on each day. What I want to put it simply is more granule details of what we already have. I don't asking for this is to far fetched. I mean Publish0x already has the data in a database it just needs to be queried into a graph with a drop down picker.
On the bottom half of the screenshot above are 2 articles I wrote months ago and yet they are on top of the list. I can't figure out why they are at the top. I have had articles with more views, tips, likes, dislikes then those 2 articles. With that being said I wish I could sort the list to see what article has made me the most money, and which article has gotten the most views. That would be helpful to me to easily see what articles are working and what to work better on.
3) Convert your crypto
This one is probably a pipe dream I admit, but that doesn't stop me from wanting it regardless! The way I envision this would be a section under your profile (maybe a sub section under 'payments') where you could select all of 1 of your tokens and convert it to another. So instead of each week making 3 withdraws I would make 1 withdraw. It would be lower gas fees for Publish0x.... just saying :)
And say for example you have enough to withdraw BAT this week, and you only have $0.20 in ETH and $0.15 is AMPL. You could convert your ETH and AMPL to be BAT and then make 1 bigger withdraw. It may be a logistical nightmare for Publish0x but I bet everyone would be for it!
4) Better post formatting options
When you write a article you are given a few options for how your article will be displayed to readers. And I completely get that and why that is. For example I wish I could copy and paste a excel table into my article and it still look like a excel table. Currently when I want to do things that the Publish0x article maker won't let me, I take a screenshot of the item in question and post it as a picture. It's just not ideal but does work.
![]()
I think what would also be nice is to have a picture viewer. What I mean by that is instead of posting 8 pictures in a row, we could have a window inside the article where you can scroll left or right through the pictures. It would make some articles easier to read
I see a ton of people posting their referral links at the bottom of each of their articles. While it's annoying to me when I read articles I get the want to do it. I would like a option for authors to have a signature of sorts. Where there is a specific blocked off section at the end of each article that they can write what they want in it to appear at the end of each article. Sort of like what it shows up now with the Blog and Profile messages. So maybe just right under that would be 5 or 6 lines of smaller font where we could post referral links or leave it blank.
5) Options to Edit toolbar
I am sure this has a better name than "toolbar" but it's what I could think of calling it.

The top row that is "Popular - New - Crypto - Project Updates - Explore" is fine the way it is. I still wish I could change them. However, what I really want to be able to edit is the 2nd row. Because for me personally on the screenshot above there are some icons there I will never click on and wish I could change them to be static. There are certain coins I follow more closely than others and would love to have quick links to any article written about them.
I would also go one step further. I would allow any tags to be used and quick links in that 2nd row. So for example if I am a sucker for "Blockchain Gaming" I would want that to be one of the options in that row. I understand if Publish0x wants to keep maybe the first 5 slots for them to interchange as they see fit. Then let us the readers change the other 8 to be what we want them to be. It's just a quality of life improvement that I think would go a long way.
So there you have it folks. My Quality of Life improvements for Publish0x that I wish to see in 2021. If you guys have any you want to see let me know.
