My experience on Publish0x and a Thank you to my followers

I've been on Publish0x a little over a year now. I have loved writing and reading here on Publish0x. I checked out other crypto blogging platforms but I didn't like them as much as Publish0x.

When I first started I thought to myself this is a fun way to earn some crypto. But after a few weeks I realized it was a way to work on my writing. I enjoy writing and never had an outlet for it. Publish0x lets me write what I want and what I enjoy and also earn some crypto for it. Sure there are some articles I have written that got basically no views and no tips. That's okay, I don't expect everything I write to make me a ton of money. The one thing I learned over the last year is to not focus on the crypto earning part. I instead focus on how many views I get. Views to me mean more than a few pennies in tips.

One of my 1st articles I wrote was about Theta.tv and how to set up a Pre-Guardian Node. I am still getting views to that article, which is insane! I really wish that Publish0x had better stats for writers but what they have is nice for now.

To put it into perspective lets take a look at what tipping tokens I have earned on this 1 article. I think it's every tipping token we had over the past year except FARM.

Here is best article based on tips. I did have 1 article for the Publish0x Tutorial contest that won $25 but I am not counting that one.

Here is my best article based on total views:

Over my year here I have watched tipping tokens come and go. Some I wish we still had and some I wish never came... :)

I have finally made it to 500 followers and I am so thankful to you all. I am sure a lot are not active members but it doesn't matter to me. That means 500 people thought what I wrote or what I wrote about was good enough to be notified when I wrote something else.

So to all of you who follow me... thank you so much.

To everyone else who reads my articles but doesn't follow me... thank you so much.

To everyone who is starting out on Publish0x as a writer here is my advice to you.

Have Patience! If your passion to write about is not Crypto that is totally okay, people will tip you and view your articles. I have seen so many people with 'niche' blogs here get a loyal following. Try new things, experiment with what you write about and how you write.

Before you post an article re-read it in the overview mode. You need to see how it looks for everyone and not just in the writer view. My rule of thumb is whatever I write I post the following day. It gives me time to step away and read it again with a fresh pair of eyes. Sometimes I read what I think I wrote and not what I actually wrote.

I have no idea what is the "best time" to post articles to get the most views. What I usually do is post articles in the morning 7-8am.

Make sure you are aware of what else is being posted on Publish0x. I am guilty of this till this day. Sometimes I post things that people have already posted 100 times about and it looses it weight as an article. If it's still something you care about then post it but make sure you include more information than the previous posts on the topic.

You will be surprised with the views and tips your articles get. Until you get to the 3-4k follower club you can have articles that you spent a lot of time researching on get next to nothing on. Then you might write an article about some update to Brave Browser and get thousands of view and $10's in tips. You can never be for sure what the people will tip on or want to view.

Be open to constructive criticism. You are not perfect and neither are the other authors here. Yesterday I got corrected on my article about Alien Worlds. I was completely wrong and someone commented informing me I was wrong. That's okay.  Learn from it and move on.

Just have fun. This isn't a school essay report you are writing. You are writing about what you are passionate about. Embrace that and enjoy it. That is why early on I chose to focus on my # of views.

USE pictures and screenshots effectively. Do have images just to have them. Don't have them so stupid large it looks terrible. Rarely do I post an article without some sort of digital media, it helps break up all the words and gives a relief to the readers.
