Edge posts update to Chromium

So as most of you are aware the Edge browser is based on Google's Chromium. Microsoft decided to give up on Internet Explorer and build a better browser on Chromium.

So the way it works is Google built a bare bones browser called Chromium. Google made that browser open source and let the public go crazy with it. They continuously update the Chromium browser. As Google updates Chromium any browser that is built off of Chromium can apply those updates. Brave Browser, Edge, are based on Chromium among many others.

So on Edge there is a feature that allows a user to send multiple tabs to an existing window via the right-click context menu. Well as it turns out that on Chromium bugs site there  is an issue from someone asking to add this function into Chromium. It is only on the Edge Browser currently.
A Google employee posted on the issue that "If you're still interested in upstreaming this from Edge, we'd be happy to take it :)"
To which a Microsoft employee responded: "sounds great! I'll take ownership of this issue then."

What this means is a couple things. For starters Microsoft has built a good browser with some nice features. Secondly Google has put it pride aside and noticed that a company took their product (base Chromium) and made it better. And that ever browser that is built on Chromium will be able to use this feature at some point.

This isn't the biggest tech news ever but this is a huge step in the right direction. The fact that Google maintains and updates Chromium for the world to use is awesome. And this also means Google isn't a tight-wad about "it's" products and will accept updates to make its products better for its users.
