Bubble, bubble on the grass
Are you there?
Or are my eyes tricking me?
Are you transparent that I see through you?
Or do you have colors that my eyes catch?
Are you alive and full of life?
Or is this grass your deathbed?
Are you a solid mass with weight?
Or just molecules held together by surface tension?
Does the air inside you give you life?
Or does it tear you apart and kill you?
Do you ponder on these things while you float for a while?
Or is your purpose simply to make others laugh?
My son laughed a lot as he watched you and your friends
And when you disappeared there were more to come.
I guess your purpose was just for a fleeting moment. You made it happen and faded without a complaint.
My phone captured your existence and your beauty. I guess that joy lives long digitally in a cloud.
Shot on a Moto X4 on 2017 and reminded of it through Google photos. Random thoughts on this bubble in 2021. Someday I'll connect these dots.
