The Trout is a salmonoid fish. Most other trouts live exclusively in rivers and lakes, others spend 2-3 years in the sea and then return to fresh water to spawn(to reproduce). Their classification is oily fish. Except humans, bears, eagles and some other eat trout as well.
Because The Trout live in a lot of different habitats, they can have couple of different colors and patterns. These colors and patterns form as camouflage, based on surroundings and will change as the fish moves to different locations.
Trout feed on other fish, and aquatic invertebrates (mollusks, flies, dragonflies) and zooplankton. Bigger trout species feed exclusively on other fish, up to 1/3 their length, where they are available. Trout may also feed on small animal parts, eels and shrimps.
Trout is a low cal food, has good amount of protein, is rich in omega-3 acids, vitamins A and D. Trout's preparation for cooking should be simple in order for it's flavor to be prominent, trout has very few bones to remove before cooking and it's scales can be left on. As for recipes any salmon recipe is suitable for a trout as well, smoked is especially good.
Fur-bearing trout is the boss of all trouts, a legendary killer trout, it wakes once a year in random river or lake walks on earth and kills every living creature it finds in its path until the sun rises /NOT. Actually though the fur-bearing trout is an actual myth about a trout with fur called Lodsilungur. Lodsilungur is a poisonous demonic fish spawn sent from hell to get revenge on people.
In fiction, Kilgore Trout represents the trouts, Kilgore is a appears in a number of works from science fiction author Kurt Vonnegut, Kilgore's is inspired by another author's name Theodore Sturgeon, sturgeon is the name of a fish species.
