I have previously posted about Farsite an up and coming Etherium2 based mining game. I was excited and ready to go! When I met the game, everything it offered and the timeline seemed great. We were just a couple of weeks till stage 2 of the opening went into effect. Over a month from that, and there is still so little happening in the Farsite universe. It's really quite a disappointment. I know everyone is out to make a buck but there is NOTHING happening there except the Farsite developers selling items for the game. We can't interact, explore, or even really mess with the two ships we already have. While I am not giving up entirely yet, I loathe these extended rollouts. Particularly when I feel that they are just too obviously are trying to sell users on in-game items.
By contrast, I really enjoy games like RollerCoin. From the first moment you log on, you are able to complete actions to earn one of five digital currencies: Bitcoin, Etherium, Dogecoin, Tether, and Rollertokens. Yeah, it's a slow start. Yeah, they'd prefer you buy a miner to speed up their earnings and yours. But you do not have to! The cheapest miner sits at 3.00 RLT (Rollertokens). You can get there in a few weeks if you diligently play the game for a bit everyday. If you don't play on the other hand, you lose nothing but the hashrate at which you were mining. Your "power" as it were.
You get paid as your percentage based on contributed hashrate to the mining pool to which the game assigns you. It pays out every 10 min... whether you are online or not. That's pretty awesome. And there is a hamster!
Anyway, I just came on to voice my frustration and diminishing patience at Farsite, because I was so excited by it and have no idea when it really will kick off. But, at least I have RollerCoin to keep me going.
