This morning I have a slight problem. I want to keep my streak going with daily posting - currently standing at 180 days (I will let you know when I managed 200!) - but I am under a bit of time pressure.

Step in my very slightly older brother!

And when I say slightly older I mean almost as close as possible without us being twins. We were both born in the same year, only he at the beginning and me at the end.

I guess we have always had a bit of a sibling thing going on and I wasn't always the easiest little brother to get on with (that's on me). However, as we grew up he became more difficult - nitpicking and his absolutely most incomprehensible thing was that if we were going to the same place at the same time every single Sunday (we were going to church back then) you'd think it would become routine. One time he just went when I was a few seconds behind him and I asked why he didn't wait and his response was that I didn't ask.

Well fair enough from a certain point, but we were brothers and we were doing the same thing week in week out. So, what followed was that I had to ask every single time and he would give me a specific time and if I was even just a few seconds late - for example just putting my shoes on - he would go.

Of course if he was running late there was never any come back - not that I would do that anyway because it is all very petty - and that's part of my point!

So I am meeting him today at a certain point, about a 15 minute walk away from where I am staying, in just over an hour and I need to get ready. It does mean that I dare not be late; for to be late is to be left behind.

So therefore I have to keep this post short and sweet, as I dare not even be 2 seconds late!
