Another Crypto D'oh Moment

By rah | rah | 17 Feb 2021

My wife says that I am quite like Homer Simpson - and I'd like to think that is a compliment! Whatever you say about him he always comes out right in the end. He may have a few d'oh moments on the way, but gets there in the end. I'm just the same when it comes to adopting crypto platforms. I may be a bit slow, but I do learn the lessons eventually.

I was just the same with Celsius as a a staking platform. Maybe I should have taken it on two months earlier than I did. Interestingly Publish0x is the one that I got straight into. So my latest one is noise:cash.

I'd heard about it of course, but never really looked into it. Finally on Monday I went for it and my initial experience was a bit negative as it seemed hard to connect with others and the whole free tips thing was a bit confusing to me. I even posted that it seemed to be a bit of a slow burner and then it happened...

Somehow, somewhere the tap (I won't say faucet - and not just because I'm English!) turned on and BitCoin Cash started dribbling out (at this stage I can't say its free flowing). What is more I configured it to my Celsius BitCoin Cash address so not only is it dribbling in, but it starts staking immediately. The other thing that I found somewhat unusual was that every single tip is passed on immediately and the beauty of Celsius is even micro-amounts start staking as soon as they receive it.

It's essentially free and stakes immediately.

One thing I haven't figured out completely yet is how to find people. On Monday when I joined I found a post by somebody who I follow on here and he too follows me and I didn't really understand Subscriptions at that point so I didn't know what to do. As noise:cash is based on chambers I have absolutely no idea how to find him again and despite my best efforts - I haven't been able to find him again.

BTW if you read this you know who you are because I commented about recognising your name :D

Anyhow while I'm still having some teething problems I am more than happy with noise:cash and I think it's going to go on to become second only to Publish0x as a crypto platform. Initial returns show it to be significantly better than faucets I use.
