The game dev's decision to restrict normal and bot users from withdrawing assets/tokens is limiting the natural flow of interest in the game. Players are no longer motivated to play because their efforts seem futile. Blockchain games thrive on NFT and token rewards and is a primary motivator for this type of gamer.

As a result of the dev's decisions of late, there will continue to be a decrease in the value of the game's assets and tokens, and the community is at risk of collapsing.

  • Restricting players' access to their assets and tokens goes against the spirit of blockchain games, which is all about owning and carrying assets and tokens.
  • If the developers continue to limit players' access, the community will cease to exist.
  • The current paywall is $5 (in MATIC) to withdraw tokens with new additional restrictions on users. The change is blamed on bots but is largely self-serving purse moves by the devs. Doing the opposite, letting tokens and assets flow would at least let their game exist another year, but cutting off the flow of assets and tokens ensures completely abandonment by the community of players ("yes, real players swap their tokens from blockchain games and its not a bad thing, devs!")

Bots will be with us until the end of the internet and are a natural part of blockchain games, love them or hate them.  Developers should adapt without restricting players' ability to use their assets in any way they please, including the Sunflower Land Token (SFL) and all Matic NFT assets earned in-game.

By attempting to take this liberty from players, SFL becomes a "waste of time" in the eyes of blockchain gamers who are motivated by the tangibility of time-invested in a clicker game, or whatever. There are better games on Steam, after all, and what distinguishes blockchain grinding games and Steam games are the assets, tokens and freedom of ownership!

This article serves as an early warning to those attempting to earn SFL or assets within this game. The Sunflower Land devs appear to be adamant about "securing" their token from what they deem misuse of their blockchain game. That simply is a mischaracterization and demonization of blockchain itself that they don't appear to comprehend intuitively as being all about ownership!
