US Flying Car Era Begins
Why has it taken so long to bring about flying vehicles? The ad below is from 1958 in a US magazine and we have nothing like it. Perhaps this is about to change?!?

Welcome to the Future: US eVTOL (AKA electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft) so, not technically automobiles but still personal flight. The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) gave their first eVTOL approval on May 27, '22 for US trials. Our future will unlock lots of great new technologies and places to visit and transportation mechanisms. In the short-term flying cars are becoming a reality currently they are known as eVTOL.
Wondering if they will have showrooms or only online ordering?
Wondering will flight data be recorded on the blockchain and which chain?
Would you fly in one now or would you have to have see several years of success prior to getting on one for a flight?

Very interesting designs popping up from across the globe, note even NASA has a design in the mix.

It will be interesting to see which designs win out in the end. My best guess is there will be winners in categories much like are found in autos today (Low end, Mid-range, high end and ultra luxury). I could be wrong of course!
Across the pond, a German Flying Taxi took flight- Lilium developed first all electric Flying Taxi, the prototype below is known as the Phoenix 2. It runs off 36 induction electric fans. Look for Lilium to release Phoenix 2s sometime in '23. Yeah, put me at the back of the line for getting on these electric flying taxi's. I am good not being anywhere near the front of the line.

I wrote an article back in May about the worlds first Vertiport opening in UK. Read about why Vertiports are important for this new travel type. https://www.publish0x.com/quantum-computing-in-bite-size-pieces/worlds-first-vertiport-opens-in-uk-xddydvx
Summary - Ask yourself does the US Gov. regulation burden or labor market hold the USA back from unlocking our new destiny? Think about the powerful forces Gov. Lobbies have or the success of product launches in our world today. How long before eVTOL(s) become common place? Will other nations lead before the USA really allow them?
