IDC published the latest statistics on smart phone sales worldwide for the first quarter of 2019. According to this data, Samsung is still the leader, Huawei has shown steady growth.
In this quarter, 310.8 million smartphones were sold As following:
71.9 million (23.1%) were from Samsung
59.1 million (19%) from Huawei
36.4 million (11.7%) from Apple
(8٪) from Xiaomi
(7.5٪) from Vivo
(7.4٪ ) from Oppo
(23.2 ٪ ) from All other companies
Compared to the first quarter of the previous year, Huawei showed steady growth in the top three, leading to sales improvement by more than 50%. Samsung lost 8.1% ,while Apple lost 30.2%. ..Total equipment sold during the quarter decreased by 6.6%.
If this trend persists, Huawei may soon be emerging as a leader in smartphone sales...
