- The US Commerce Department said in a statement that it will give Huawei a 90-day deadline to enable the Chinese company in the next three months to use the version of Android system and broadcast updates to normal users.
- This announcement comes as a relaxation of the ban imposed on Huawei, after the US government put it in the list of entities that are prohibited to deal with commercially, which forced Google to withdraw the license of Android system yesterday before the decision was canceled temporarily
- According to the announcement Huawei will be able to maintain its existing networks in some US cities and of course will be able to take advantage of the license system of Android already has to broadcast updates periodically to users until August 19
