Hi all!

As you know, you can comment on articles published on Publish0x.com and I love to see thoughtful comments posted on quality posts.

On the other hand, some users publish comments of questionable quality. I'd like to make it clear that...

Publish0x does not give higher rewards to users who comment on articles.

At the same time, it baffles me to see, what I can best describe as spammy comments being posted too. These include comments that are short and often praising the author in very poor English. I do understand that sometimes people just want to give thanks to an author, above tipping them. I do this myself sometimes, and don't find comments like the one in the image below to be a big problem.

Having said that, I can't help but think that this comment was posted because the comment author thought he would get a curated reward; Some other crypto-blogging platforms reward users for comments on articles, Publish0x does not.

Publish0x does not reward commenting on articles.

That is why I am surprised to see reposts or even translations of comments published under the same article; Some users literally copy and paste a random comment and publish that comment under the same article. More inventive users first translate the comment and then publish it.

This is the original comment. The same comment was translated to Russian, and posted by another users at a later time, as you can see in the screenshot below.

Do you guys know why some users would do this, or is my assumption correct? The assumption is that some users think that they think the rewards are higher for those who comment on articles, as opposed to those who "just" write or tip articles.

Would love to get a better understanding of this and hear your thoughts.
