It's been a while since the last writing contest, and we are very excited to host this one! This contest is about Across Protocol (ACX), a cross-chain token bridge that transfers value between mainnet Ethereum and L2s. Across simplifies the user experience by ensuring that tokens can be transferred quickly and with minimal fees, making it an attractive choice for DeFi users, traders, and developers alike.
It is secured by UMA’s decentralized optimistic oracle, and helps users to transfer tokens between Ethereum (the mainnet) and various L2 networks, helping users to move assets between these ecosystems seamlessly; L2s include OP Network / Optimism Mainnet, which might interest Publish0x users!
The prize pool for this contest is $1,500, consisting of $1,000 in $USDC rewards + $500 in $ACX rewards!
>> Chance to Win from Extra Rewards in $ACX! Use the Across Protocol bridge or it's easy to use cross-chain swap interface Straddl; share your experience in #community-contributions channel in Across Discord! <<
#BridgeAcrossWithACX Writing Contest - Win Your Share from $1,500 in $USDC and $ACX Prize Pool!
Topics that you can write about to participate in this contest center around Across Protocol. Here are some of the topic ideas to help you get started:
Intents-based interoperability
An intent is a type of order where a user specifies an outcome instead of an execution path. Intents can be single-chain, or cross-chain where the user's desired outcomes is on a different chain than input assets. Read more in the Across Docs
Across+
Across+ uses cross-chain bridge hooks to access users and capital from other chains, eliminating the need for multichain deployment. Across+ uses an order standard that specifies a cross-chain limit order plus protocol action(s) to execute on destination.
New integrations:

ERC-7683
ERC-7683 standardizes how these crosschain interactions are expressed as intents, enabling seamless connectivity between Ethereum mainnet, L2s, and sidechains. Read more about ERC7683!
Extra points! Use your chance to earn extra rewards in $ACX and bonus contest points when you:
- Use the Across Protocol bridge and share the experience.
- OR share your #BridgeAcrossWithACX contest post in #community-contributions channel in Across Discord!
- OR use Straddl, the Across Protocl interface that makes it easy to perform cross-chain swaps directly—no need for a separate DEX step, saving you time and gas fees. Straddl is one of the projects that has been carried out by members of the Across community. It offers extremely fast and low-cost bridging between Ethereum mainnet and several L2 chains, currently on Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Polygon, zkSync, and Linea. Straddl leverages Across Protocol and also introduces its own, unique bridging design.
- Share your contest article or experience with the protocol in #community-contributions channel in Across Discord in order to win even more rewards in $ACX! Even users who are not participating in this contest hosted on Publish0x can join!

Great, I Can't Wait to Get Started! Where Can I Find Out More About Across Protocol?
Across is a cross-chain token bridge that transfers value between mainnet Ethereum and L2s. It is secured by UMA’s decentralized optimistic oracle. It simplifies the user experience by ensuring that tokens can be transferred quickly and with minimal fees, making it an attractive choice for DeFi users, traders, and developers alike.
Across helps users to transfer tokens between Ethereum (the mainnet) and various L2 networks, helping users to move assets between these ecosystems seamlessly.
The launch of Across V3 created the intents-based interoperability platform for developers to offer world-class, Web2-grade UX to their users. V3 introduces new features such as: Across Settlement, which is the only production-ready, modular settlement layer for cross-chain intents and Across+, a chain abstraction tool that offers cross-chain bridge hooks for intents.
ERC-7683 represents a key milestone in blockchain's evolution toward open, interoperable protocols that benefit the entire ecosystem. Created by Across Protocol and Uniswap, ERC-7683 simplifies cross-chain transactions by providing a unified framework for connecting different blockchain networks.
Straddl is an Across Protocol interface that makes it easy to perform cross-chain swaps directly—no need for a separate DEX step, saving you time and gas fees.
