One might comment on the complexity of the human mind and the absurd ways in which it functions and how powerful it really is and how little we know about it, but when it comes down to brass tacks, all of us like to believe there is hope, hope for betterment, hope for growth, hope for change, just hope in general. This concept of hope is it really any good? or is it just about us rationalizing the fears we do not feel comfortable enough to face?
You think you grow, the circumstances, time and so on, change you, but is it actually you changing or just growing numb to your own-self and your own feelings? You want to change, you think you can handle it, but when you face it you end up realizing that you have always wanted to change and your experiences with certain situations and circumstances teach you how you are supposed to tackle them, but you never really want to, you want to feel how you felt the first time around, despite barely having any control over it.
So the question remains, do you force yourself to adapt to change while truly not being happy, or you accept the way you are and live by it?
