I have my favourite content creators, some of which I love so much that I'll be quite downcast the days they don't upload their videos.
I also love some websites so much. I'm a tech head, so I visit Android Central and The Verge a lot. I mean multiple times in 8 hours. <I love tech so much:)>
And I always try my best to support my favourite content creators. I use their affiliate links whenever I want to make purchases, and whenever I see an ad on their site that I find intriguing, I click on it. I also watch their YouTube ads fully to ensure they make the maximum amount of money to keep them going. They rely on those profits after all.
But recently, one of my favourite sites to visit, TheVerge, has been ridden with ads. I mean, it's so bad that it's almost impossible to find the content in the sea of ads that TheVerge.com has become.
It seems like TheVerge has started losing money or something, because that was very unusual.
The whole point of that intro was for us to try as much as possible to push the Brave Browser and Brave Rewards program as far as possible. It would be nice if these media outlets accepted BAT tips, so I can find a way to help my favourites stay in the creating game.
When Brave reaches the mass level or adoption that we all yearn for, content creators may completely stop relying on Google ads at all.
With the money you make from viewing Brave Ads, you could donate to your favourite creators. This helps them stay in business, and helps you stay happy.
Also, this programme will help with new bloggers coming up into the space. The major problem that new bloggers face is building a community, and then trying to make a living off this community. With Brave, networking becomes much easier. A new blogger may create a beautiful image ad describing his website, and have this ad published throughout Brave browsers worldwide.
People will then flock to the site if the ad was enticing enough, and those who are interested stay and join the community. If they like his/her work, they'll tip him/her some of their tokens, which acts as an incentive for the new blogger to keep pushing out that content.
This, in my opinion,is one of the greatest use cases of Brave and BAT.
