So I found out about this cryptocurrency called Electoneum, or ETN as it's widely known as.

In summary, the coin is a mobile based payment system, like ripple or Stellar.

The difference is that, while this one has its blockchain created from scratch, the transactions are nearly instant! And they're completely free of fees, allowing anyone anywhere to send and receive money at anytime they please.

To send or receive money, users simply have to download the app, and fund their wallets with ETN tokens. There is no fee for doing this.

Then, the user initiates a send protocol to the other user. This is also feeless!

And the receiver receives his money in ETN tokens. Now transforming the ETN tokens received calls for a little fee, but this is by far the most feeless structure I've personally ever seen.

Also, in the app, users are allowed to mine ETN tokens, right on their phones. This gives them about 11 tokens a day, which, when calculated is about $10 a month. It's not a huge amount that'll make you bounce off your seat, but it's $10 you didn't have before.

Users can also use their mined currency to top up their mobile phone plans, which in my opinion is the best use case of the app. I'm always exhausting my data plans because 1080p YouTube is just too good. But with about 600ETN tokens,I can get my phone plan back in order to continue with my streaming.

And if you'd like to use your tokens to get bitcoin instead, you can use exchanges like KuCoin, Shapeshift (I don't like their fees though) or a list of other exchanges in the app to instantly transform your tokens into BTC.
