Today marks the 31st day since I started using the Brave browser.

I have told this story many times, but initially I used to sell off my BAT tokens that I warned on this platform for BTC. I instantly exchanged the tokens for BTC with Changelly, because I was obsessed with increasing my BTC holdings.

A large spike in BAT's price that caused the amount of BTC I was receiving to go down made me change my mind about converting it all the time.

So I decided to start collecting my BAT tokens from the Brave browser, as well as P0x. The idea was that I would collect them for long enough so I'd be able to trade with them. It was basically free money for trading.

Fast forward till today, and I have gotten decent holdings in BAT. Still not enough to trade, but pretty substantial.

I have used the Brave browser for 31 days. Here are my thoughts.

I live in Florida, so my region is supported for both Brave creator and consumer rewards. I post everything I write here to my personal blog, and as such I receive Brave rewards from my rather small audience (about 700 people a day).

I was able to convert about 50 people to become Brave users, and this left me with quite a substantial amount of BAT. Still not enough to trade, but quite substantial.

I also encouraged my audience to tip my content through the browser since I was hardly making 50 cents a day from my Google ads. Most of them listened and I can now expect a certain amount of BAT everyday coming from my audience.

Last month, I earned about $1(probably less) through Brave rewards ads.

So I have a pretty good system in place here.

What I learnt from using the browser for so long is this:

• This browser is fast: And I don't say it just for fun. It is about 2x faster than Chrome in my testing.(yes I used s stopwatch). The browser automatically blocks all ads, so it's easier to load heavy web pages much faster than usual.
• It has a clean interface: It's built on Chromium, and Chromium was built for Chrome. So this browser looks a heck lot like Chrome, which is amazing because Chrome has a very clean look.
• This browser is lightweight: Chrome on mobile set me back about 112MB. This browser set me back 69MB. So while not a huge difference, for people who use limited data plans a month, this will be more preferred.
• It saves data: All the data that would have been used to load up the ads on the site is saved because the ads are blocked.
• It pays you!: Although the amount is small, you could be passively making $80 a year. Not too much, but Chrome doesn't make you any money per year. I'll take $80 over $0 any time.
