Google relies on privacy intruding advertisements and data collection for it's business model to prosper.

Brave relies on cutting off Google's source of income to make its own business model prosper.

Can Brave put Google out of the advertising game?

Spoiler alert: No 

Here's why.

You see, advertising makes up a big chunk of Google's revenue. But it doesn't make up the whole chunk. So, even if Brave does take over Google(highly unlikely), Google will still survive. And that's a good thing. But that's not what this post is about.

Brave is good and all, but it is most likely impossible to put something as big as Google out of business.

Google makes an estimated $100000 every minute. All from advertising. And Google has over a billion people using its services.

All this combines to make Google the largest company on the planet by sheer usage of services.

And they have tons of data about its users. Believe it or not, Google knows a truckload about you.

Your age, your weight, where you are right now even.

And all this is amazing to advertisers. Theoretically, they can get the best customers to target their products and services to. 

So they spend thousands of dollars on ads that are meant solely for the purpose of connecting you with their service. 

And if these ads didn't work, then Google won't have any money to begin with.

But Google having money means these ads do work. And advertisers keep coming.

If you use the "I'm feeling lucky" button on the Google search bar, you'd see a different ad everytime. Every.Single.Time.

This is a sign that advertiser's aelieve in Google's ideology. And their data bank is just years away from Brave's.

So Google can't be replaced anytime soon. Especially by Brave.

Because not everyone is interested in crypto.

In fact, my own friends believe that crypto is a fad that will be dead in the next 5 years. Bummer.

Crypto requires mass adoption before Brave would stand a chance.

At least the way it is now.
