BAT as a token is extremely excellent in almost all aspects.
It's cheap, but not too cheap. It's easy to obtain, but not too easy to obtain. And the charts show that it trades well. It's volatile, but not too volatile, and it has function, but not too deep function.
Ok, enough with all the wordplay. What are the best uses of BAT?
- As the currency of the internet:
Imagine content creators actually living large off their content. If a big content creator, with say about 50000 subscribers on a decentralised video watching platform publishes a video, and each of his viewers gifts him 1BAT, as cheap as it is, the creator will get about 50000 BAT, or at the current exchange rate, $10000. This is amazing, and will encourage the content creator to continue creating great content. Now imagine content creators that have worked hard and gotten to a million subscribers. They'd be among the richest people in the world.
BAT can act as the currency of the internet, where BAT mined passively from our Brave browsers is used to incentivize content creation. If I mine 1BAT per hour(just a prediction, mining isn't enabled yet), that's 24BAT a day, or $5.04 at current exchange rate. Gifting my favourite content creators 1BAT will be little to me, but will encourage independence on the part of the creator, as well as instant payments. Just imagine that.
- As a way to introduce mining to noobs
Picture this. A beautiful browser where you actually make money while you're browsing the web ad free. It's magical for noobs with no computer experience to get started mining. No setup required. No crazy nomenclature. No downloading scammy software or any of that. Just download the browser and mine. And also tip your favourite creators. What more could be better?
I can see students who need more money mining BAT while they're studying for an exam, or workers downloading this browser on their work computers at the office for more income.
