BAT Vs TEZOS: Passive income or staking?

BAT Vs TEZOS: Passive income or staking?

I personally love and own Tezos.

It's wonderful that I can just hold on to it, and it automatically produces passive income for me through a process called 'staking'.

This not only multiplies your original investment, but compounds upon it, to equally multiply the multiplied interest.

It's kind of like magic, giving that your interests earn interests that earn interests. In a never ending cycle.

The bottom line is that you're always richer everyday than the previous day.(Since this is a cryptocurrency, factors like market price fluctuations of course affect the actual numbers but your be richer in Tezos, which is great also)

And the income accrued every year when staking in a Trust wallet is about 5.3%, while in a Coinbase wallet, it's closer to 5.1%.

This interest is paid everyday, so if you have large Tezos holdings, you could be making some decent money every day.

Now, we get to BAT.

BAT can't be earned completely passively yet, and you can't stake it like Tezos.

Brave, the company behind BAT and the Brave Browser has stated that it wants to add passive ways of earning BAT using the browser.

These ways include 'silent mining,' where users can opt in to mine BAT tokens whilst they use their browser normally. There's also image ads addition, where users don't actually have to click on the images to earn BAT.

I have written posts on both additions here and here respectively. Check them out.

So, with all these points for each one, if you ABSOLUTELY had to buy just ONE, which one would you buy?

Personally, I would go for BAT, given the upgrades stated to occur soon. Yes, Tezos gives you compounding passive income every day, but the amount depends on how much Tezos you already have.

Grace's new features will allow ANYONE to earn a decent amount of BAT for doing basically nothing but using their browser normally.

And these users, if they're smart will compound their profits by trading against either the USD or any stable coin out there, thereby maximising their profits.

This is my two cents.

This is just by the way, but if you're all for Brave and you want to spit in Tezos' face even more, how about converting your Tezos to BAT at no fee?
