Comparisons, comparisons.
It's almost like comparing apples to apples, no?
No.
Both BAT and Monero are all about that privacy yo!
They are both privacy centered tokens that, well, try to improve on privacy in transactions.
But there's a difference.
BAT isn't entirely about privacy. Yes, it encourages privacy, but it's end goal is to change the digital advertising game.
Monero, on the other hand is really about that private internet life.
Monero has the following advantages over BAT:
- It is really about the privacy. Like, really. With a monero transaction, the sender address, amount and receiving address are all encrypted and hidden, so that no one trying to intercept can see it. In fact, when the money gets to YOUR monero wallet, you only see the amount and not the sending address. That's just bonkers.
- Monero is a lot more secure than BAT: Being built from the ground up with privacy in mind, monero is super secure, and for that reason is used s lot on the dark web and other "bad" or illegal sites because of the fact that nothing about the sender or recipient is revealed to anyone else. Monero also has more advanced security protocols than BAT, and is way more anonymous.
But it isn't all about Monero. BAT also has a few advantages over Monero, and some of which I feel are integral to mass adoption of BAT over Monero in the long run.
- BAT can be gotten for free: Yes, getting free crypto is everyone's heaven. One of the primary ways of getting BAT is through the Brave browser, which is an amazing thing for noobs that are just starting out and are looking for ways to cut costs and get some free money.
- BAT wants to change an industry: This is important for longer term fundamental investors. BAT is on a mission to change the way we view advertisements, and is out to ensure we view ONLY ads we're interested in.
Those are just my two cents. What do you think?
