The Brave browser is doing a lot to protect our privacy and reward us for just using the internet like normal people.
Which is why I have come up with this post. Also, for anyone who is yet to switch to Brave, you can count this post as a few reasons why you should.
Let's get started.
Before we begin, you can earn free Bitcoin for doing tasks you would otherwise be doing. Check out how here!
1. Brave allows you to earn money for your time on the internet
For me, this is literally reason enough to switch. Once I hear money, I'm in.🙃
Really though, while Chrome mostly guzzles your data plan and doesn't give you anything for it, Brave allows you to earn back some of the money you spend on your internet. In my case, merely using my browser on mobile and desktop allows me to cover the amount I use for my WiFi fees. Which is nice.
Also, because you earn in a cryptocurrency, while there is the added risk of the fiat value of your earnings reducing, there is also the ability for them to increase in value. Which can multiply your earnings.Â
2. Brave cares about your privacy
Privacy is front and center in the Brave browser. I believe that was the main reason for creating the browser in the first place.
All your data is stored on your device and never leaves it. Your passwords are encrypted on your phone and not stored on any servers.Â
The fact that the Brave team has no access to your personal data is equally amazing.Â
While many might argue that Brave's cash out partner, Uphold requires KYC to function, their methods of storage of your data are very secure. They use the highest class of security for your protection.

3. How you're served the ads
This is the fun part, which is why I saved it for last.Â
Ever wondered how the ads you get on Brave are about stuff you're actually interested in?
Well, here's how.
Brave actually collects your data, but just like I pointed out above, they don't keep it. It's all kept on your device.
This data consists of the webpages you visit, the kind of blog posts you read and all that kind of stuff.
These collected data sets are now used in a specialised algorithm to filter through a set of ads that advertiser's have created.Â
The ones with matching interests get served to you, and you can get both value from the product and money from brave if you interract with said ads. Cool or what?
Those are my reasons guys. Thanks for reading, and don't forget to claim your free BTC here!
