Brave browser is something I've been looking at for a while now and even installed on one of my PCs, but I didn't really figure out how to monetize it until now. See, you have to sign up at publishers.basicattentiontoken.org to even generate a referral link. Once you're in, you'll need to either establish yourself as the owner of a website (provenpassive.com is now a verified site and can receive BAT tips), or link a social media profile like YouTube, Reddit or Twitter. Each account you link comes with its own referral link so you can track where your referrals are coming from.
Brave allows users to opt in to its own system of ads, which appears as notifications and do not need to be interacted with in order to receive payment, each of which pays 0.1 BAT. That's okay, but the max for ads shown in an hour is 5, so it isn't very fast. No, referrals are where the big bucks are found. Referrals go down 5 levels, paying $7.50 USD, $6.50, $5, $2 and $1 for levels 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, respectively, for confirmed installations. That's kind of a big deal. So, to those of you who have not yet become Brave Browser users, here is my link, so get started and let's both get paid!
I will say that, unlike CryptoTab Browser, Brave does not benefit from a profit increase for running on multiple devices. However, the two browsers can be operated side by side, allowing you to passively earn BTC and BAT simultaneously. The other great thing about Brave is its tracker/ad blocking. In less than an hour, Brave blocked nearly 900 of these for me. This solidifies its position as my new default browser. Like CryptoTab, it is Chromium-based and compatible with all Chrome extensions (like ExpressVPN, seriously, you need this).
There isn't much else to say, I guess, except hit up that link, get Brave and start earning some BAT for doing nothing! I mean, seriously, what have you got to lose?
