SCARS stands for Scam Compensation and Reimbursement Services.  It is an aspect of provenpassive.com that I am really excited about implementing.  SCARS will operate based on donations and my own monthly contributions.  I want to make SCARS the thing that takes away the fear of online passive income and investing opportunities, especially in the crypto economy where it is so easy to get robbed blind if you're new or not careful.  Visitors and members at provenpassive.com will be able to apply for SCARS by sending screenshots as proof of their lost investments with the agreement that they be redacted of all personal identifiers so I can post them on my site as proof that whatever site they were using is a scam.

Yesterday, a visitor to the site contacted me about Bitland.pro and how he got scammed by them.  Shortly after contacting customer support on his behalf, I lost access to it as well and my withdrawals stopped working.  I was still around $200 from recovering my invested capital, so needless to say I am a bit disappointed.  However, it is my hope that God will cause this unfortunate circumstance to work for the greater good, as I now have an opportunity to use SCARS to help its very first online scam victim. 

So far, the only donation to SCARS has been my own $100 monthly contribution, so my ability to help is severely limited, but hopefully being able to prove to at least one person that it is real and I am genuinely interested in making online crypto investing safer and more secure will get the word out.  You can help, too.  Even if you can't afford to donate, you can still share the website, its Facebook page or this post with as many people as possible.  Because I do not advertise on my site nor charge for any of its resources or services, donations are the only means for me to grow the SCARS Fund.
