For fellow blockchain gamers, even I know we are all not at AlienWorlds. This will be about different blockchain game, which I prefer, because its actually a game (not just 1 button mine).

Prospectors.io defines itself as MMORTES (Massive Multiplayer Online Real-Time Economic Strategy Game), and if you forget that terrible category, its actually quite fun sim game. You are mining recources, creating tools, building, providing jobs and services for other players.

The game started on EOS, but new new expansions are coming on WAX. I think its great decission for game, because of much larger user base on WAX and more user friendly tools/wallets.

Anyway, at this post I wanted to verify the blockchain "capability" of the game. Can we really move assets between game and outside world?

Answer is yes of course (otherwise I would not waste time on that game). We dont have cool futuristic teleport, but we have nice retro train. So lets take a look how to hop on train between prospectors.io Yukon world and outside world. As we will be using WAX, it has to be the Yukon world (the other world is running on EOS).

Step 1 - Get some gold in Yukon world

Its extremely simple. It can be even as low as 10 gold. No first deposit is needed, just some WAX CPU staked (as for any WAX action). Anyway, more on that in next post.

Step 2 - Convert gold to PGL

Well, this is even more simple and just takes a second. In prospectors.io go to account (just press A). And there to Exchange.

Rate between gold <-> PGL is fixed to 1000 gold = 1 PGL. Just fill in how many gold to exchange and boom, PGL token will be in your WAX wallet.

Step 3 - Trade PGL to WAX

With PGL, you can go to any exchange trading it (not sure how many there is). But there is always alcor for most of wax tokens and PGL/WAX pair is traded there. The price is volatile and limited liquidity. But PGL is going up recently and liquidity is just fine for any non-whale player. So let go there and trade your PGL for WAX.

Step 4 - Trade WAX

With WAX in our wallet we are already out of prospectors world. So you can buy NFTs (even those stupid alien worlds). But you can also trade for other crypto or for those bad war game tokens called USD.

For this step just go to KuCoin (link below).

Of course, this train goes both directions, so if you like to have better start at prospectors, just go with your WAX the other way.

(plus you can also hodl PGL or stake them in-game for passive profit)
