Work is sacred for me.
I can't just do work that doesn't honor my soul.
And that's why I left many jobs.
I probably had three dozen jobs.
A true job hopper grasshopper.
Until one day, I said, "Enough, I'll work on my own now".
And started becoming an entrepreneur by default.
When you like being your own boss, you've got to be one.
When you like to think for yourself, you've got to be an entrepreneur.
And take all the responsibility for your success, failures, and losses.
Which I had plenty of.
It was the losses that built strength and character in me.
And surely in all of you.
I'm sure you have a wealth of experience unique to you alone.
And it's also true that only in adversity can one be really tested.
It tests the mettle of your character.
The strength of your spirit.
What is the work that you do?
Do you find fulfillment in it?
Do you sleep good nights or days because of it?
Does it pay you what you're worth as a human being?
Do others honor that spirit in you?
Are you brave enough to create work you love?
Have you been poor?
Have you been rich?
Are you happy where you are right now?
Is your soul crying out for something?
Do you like what you see in the world?
Do you like how people are?
In your heart, what do you think could be better?
How can you help?
Does the world need saving?
Are you at peace with yourself?
What was the happiest day for you?
These things course through my mind each day.
Always prompted by something.
And thus, I cannot take just any kind of work.
Especially when I know others suffer just to deliver.
Please don't have others do what you won't do yourself.
Please honor the Spirit of God in others.
Please pave the way for them to blossom into their fullest potential.
Happiness can come from that.
It is noble work.
Work that comes from your heart is noble.
It is your prayer back to God.
It is your gift to others.
And you are priceless.
