Why doesn't anyone impose sanctions against the United States?
But actually, who can do it?
Sanctions are a systemic and collective process. And the United States controls:
— the world reserve currency (dollar);
— key financial nodes (banks, clearing houses, settlements);
— the largest sales markets;
— Institutional pressure mechanisms (IMF, ratings, compliance).
In order to impose effective sanctions against the United States, it is necessary:
— give up the dollar,
— have a comparable market,
— control the alternative financial system,
— be ready to hit yourself and much harder than in the case of Russia.
So the answer is obvious - there are no such strong players. And talking about it doesn't make sense.
