Once again, there was some misunderstanding with those incorrigible romantics who, in connection with Alexei Navalny's birthday, once again lost sympathy and began to dream of a "beautiful Russia of the future", citing Nazi Germany (fascist, as they say), which was able to take the path of correction, as an example...
Without justifying German Nazism... the difference here is that the German nation had a history "before". This is the biggest difference. It had a history of development, it was a nation of high technical, everyday and legal culture. Then, as a resentment against the backdrop of defeat in WWI, Hitler happened. Germany's goal was obvious - to return to the point "before" Hitler.
Russia has nothing "before" except slavery, poverty and imperial arrogance with a claim to greatness. NOTHING!
And what we are seeing now did not happen as a result of the last 25 years of rule by a mad degenerate and Co. (they are flesh and blood of their serfs). It happened long ago and history (not falsified by them) clearly demonstrates it.
There is no Russian nation separate from the empire either. Russia and the Reich cannot be compared, since they have nothing in common at all, except for the attempts of patriots to imitate the Reich. There are much more grounds for comparison with Uganda during the time of Idi Amin, with the Central African Republic during the time of Bokassa, and Haiti during the time of Duvalier. They really have a lot in common with them, although in terms of meanness and baseness, hardly anyone could surpass the "Russian world".
The desire to compare Russianism with the Reich is quite understandable, since this comparison gives false hope for correction, as once happened with the Germans, but in this case, the chances for correction are "zero".
Therefore, dreamers of a "beautiful Russia" need to be careful, so that by fighting the effect without eliminating the cause, they do not repeat in the future what has been repeated from century to century.
The main difference is that Germany was defeated, occupied and re-educated. This country has no prerequisites for correction, not even the slightest.

From the author's telegram channel:
After the authorities ordered the public burning
Of books with harmful content,
When everywhere they urged on the oxen that dragged
Carts with books to the fire,
One persecuted author, one of the best,
Studying the list of those burned, suddenly Was horrified to discover that his books
Were forgotten.
He hurried to his desk,
Inspired by anger, and wrote a letter to those in power.
"Burn me!" his winged pen wrote. "Burn me!
Don't let me through! Don't do it! Haven't I
Written only the truth in my books? And you
Treat me like a liar.
I command you: "Burn me!"
Bertolt Brecht. Book Burning
Translated by B. Slutsky
Written under the influence of an open letter by the writer Oscar Maria Graf in connection with the public burning of books in Germany on May 10, 1933.
