Picking it up from where we left it last gameweek, whoever watched the Newcastle game knows that we deserved way more than the 2/4, but such is the nature of the game. Onwards to today:

Southampton is one of those teams that every year they play an amazing first round, until they achieve their goal of not getting relegated and then they go for early holidays. This season this is not the case as their performances so far have been subpar so we should expect them to regress and the game against Nottingham Forest is ideal for that. They are both prime candidates for the relegation battle, and away Forest has still not managed to get a win (record 0-2-6). So this game is now or never for both hence I will go with the more productive offence and the home team advantage.

On Leeds - West Ham, I will once again go with the most productive offence, since West Ham is fairly unconvincing this season. West Ham has only scored 4 goals in their away matches so I can not imagine how they will win without scoring.

On Aston Villa - Wolves all the aforementioned things are also true, so in essence all our picks are similar today. Terrible away teams against mediocre home teams, picking home advantage and most productive offence.
