Daily I spent many hours on the internet. Not only the world wide web but also the blockchain.
There are more and more sites on Steem and EOS you can join. All social media and they have something in common. You can earn a bit if you post and if someone notices you!
You are not the only one around and it is not said your post will be a hit.
Steem already proved this is not the case. You can write a great article. It can take you days to write it but your earnings can be 0 (zero).
On the other hand, a person can post a photo of a piece of shit every hour and make a great income.
How can that be?
It is easy. If you post every hour people see you and remember your name. Might even vote to get rid of you.
If you are a big fish people vote for you too. The small ones do because they hope you will help them too.
If you comment, engage to others, people notice your name too. They also know their post has been read by someone and there is a big chance that person will follow them and read more of what they wrote.
This is what we call good politics or advertising yourself!
The truth is most people do not care.
They come and just post some lines. It can be a copy-paste from somewhere else or some lines out of a newspaper. After they did so they leave to the next social media.
@Danoskie published his article " WHY YOU HAVE TO TIP AT LEAST 5 TIMES DAILY". As I read it said and proved what I already thought.
He exactly wrote down the way he handles social media. He did not even know how tips at Publish0x work!
Social media means socializing, engaging to others.
That can be difficult since we do not all speak the same language. I am also not a native speaker if it comes to the English language.
I also suffer from a very slow connection which means I frequently can not sign in or post and it takes me 5 minutes to load a post.
Still, I take the time to read, comment and upvote/give a tip. I even do this with my phone. It all takes me way more time as most of you.
Is it worth it?
It is even if no one is reading me. These places are full of reads. Good and bad ones and as a writer, I can learn from it.
If you are smart you start reading, commenting too and learn so you can improve yourself.
You can read me on Steem, WordPress and Yoo.rs too.
