WAIT A SECOND... WHAT?!?!?!

In most democratic countries, there are pretty strict laws regarding campaign funding and where they come from. Well, what would happen if money was moved into a campaign's account (or another and converted to cash) to fund that politician or political party?

In a 2019 report by Swedish firm International IDEA, they discovered that in Europe this has already been happening for a while! This may cause a negative public opinion of crypto and have a slightly negative effect on its overall outlook by the global population. However, if more politicians begin to see the utility, low cost, high return, and flexibility of digital assets such as crypto, it could return to us as early adopters in a very positive way as these political figures, in turn, would do what is necessary to help mass adoption. In Political Science, there is something called "Rational Choice Theory" which basically means that people will always act in their own best interest. As sad the truth may be that few politicians and parties actually care about the common people, for those in crypto today it could be lots and lots of $$$ over the next few years!

This could be huge for the community who have invested so much so early into crypto!

Could the need for a political crypto exchange be needed in this space in the future? And if so, who will be the creators/benefactors? If regulation and tracking is needed for political fundraising, what better than the blockchain!? I can't think of anything more secure and fair than a decentralized, pear-to-pear reviewed and tracked system for this? In the near future? I think so.
