Are big corporations and their friends trying to avoid paying taxes on their crypto gains? (Of course they are)

You and I know that humans are really good at finding connections that don't actually exist... Take the entire 2020 conspiracy movement as an example... No comment on the validity of any individual conspiracy, except for the f%$@ing vocal anti-maskers. It's okay with me if 1% of them get COVID and die. Hell, I wish more than 1% of them would die.

... But isn't it funny that XRP is the only top market-cap that didn't dip? In fact, it has risen since everything else started dumping. You'd think all the Ripple holders have strong hands or something...
Perhaps a lot of those that are still holding their XRP do have super strong hands, but isn't it odd that the price went up?

Does it not being a security perhaps mean that someone doesn't legally have to pay taxes on it? 😒

I could also be reading too much into it; after all, XRP isn't the only coin that came out okay during the big-three dump (Go, Wynaut, go!). I'm probably not reading too much into it though...

Big-money corruption stinks like a diaper.

It is known that Microstrategy was just about to buy in... So obviously that means some of their partners used the opportunity to to do a little profit-profit scheme... Which is a little bit unsettling, but such is the way we see it working when money within three orders of magnitude of the entire market cap gets involved... Should have taken that cue from Elon yesterday.

Either way, I bought in a little too. Not at the extra-nice, probably completely untaxed rate that the corporations and their friends get, but at a decent rate nonetheless.

It's been two days since I noticed Binance.US not letting me onboard any fiat, but Coinbase is working just fine now. I guess that's okay, though, since I hear that Coinbase is going to let us long-stake our ETH like the less shitty version of Binance. It had better not be for Europeans only...

That's all I have to say about this right now. My degrees are in science, not economics, so please don't roast me for this (but definitely feel free to correct me if I'm missing something).
