Hi everyone! 

I got a question from one of my guild mates who is new to Polygon play2earn games, he started to play Sunflower Land.
when you play games on polygon, you need to learn how to manually adjust gas fee or you gonna pay more than you should.

I made a separate article about Sunflower Land which still gives some nice earnings every month once you have a decent farm. 
you won't get rich from it but it generates a couple of $ every month, and when I can mint the NFT's from participating in the seasonal events even more.

So back to the main topic... how to adjust your fee, let's make an example:

In Sunflower Land, I wanted to list some of the NFT's I minted in Bumpkin Wearables, and like everything else, it requires a blockchain transaction to approve, so standard it's at market price, which makes the transaction a few seconds faster but also more expensive. 
To adjust, click on 'market'

You'll get a new window where you see 3 presets: low, market and aggressive. Click 'low'

note: this is the max fee you're going to pay, the actual fee I paid is in the picture below, 0.0177 matic, about 57% of the original max fee of 0.0318, so almost half 

while it's not much, you can save some cents daily, especially when you do a lot of small transactions, of course, paying less for you fee makes the chance of longer wait times or failed transactions bigger but I almost never have problems when using the 'low' option. 

sometimes when you do other transactions and it keeps failing, the network is too busy at the moment and you need to up the gas fee to market or agressive, or wait for another time when the network is less busy. for me it's usually late in the evening (I'm in europe),  the gas fee is less because Asia is asleep by then
