Welcome fellow space-faring miner! I see that you are new and wish to learn how to start in these Alien Worlds? Well you came to the right guide. I have been mining in these parts for decades, and have learned the best location, tools, and planet to mine at for starters such as yourself! So grab your shovel and beer, we are going mining!
Location
Currently there are six planets that many space-faring creatures mine on. Some have their positive upsides and consequential downsides. Luckily for the both of us, we are going to focus on the planet known as Neri. Simply select the planet Neri in your ship’s computer then choose a geothermal springs as your location to mine. Preferably choose a geothermal springs that is owned by someone with a low commission of 1%. This will grant you the highest possible amount of rewards every time you mine.
Mining
The reward you mine is called Trillium and once enough is collected, you can purchase two more shovels to mine more efficiently. Then sell the shovels and swap them out for better tools or explosives. To begin mining, all you have to do is push the yellow button at the top that says “mine”, submit mine, and confirm the transaction with your wax wallet. Once done, a random amount of Trillium will be mined and you will be put on a short cooldown before mining can once again begin.
Claiming
After mining Trillium for sometime, you can claim your rewards on the left side towards the bottom when you scroll down. It should say the amount you mined in TLM and mining rewards. Claim that to use the Trillium for trading! There will now be a Trillium balance at the top of the screen and you can swap it from TLM to WAX using the Alcor Exchange.
Swap
On the Alcor Exchange swap section of the website, simply connect your wax wallet and select TLM in the sell box, and WAX in the buy box. Afterwards, click on the green, “Swap TLM to WAX” button to convert your mined TLM to WAX.

One of your first goals is to save up enough WAX to buy two shovels and equip them on Alien Worlds to triple your mining performance.
