Nomad Capitalist is an excellent podcast to listen to. They are available on Youtube, Rumble, and Odysee. Andrew Hendersen is the owner and podcaster for this channel. He used to be a US citizen but decided years ago to "go where he was treated best." As many of his videos cover, Western countries are no longer the best, or sometimes even an option at all if you want to invest, protect your money and not lose more than 50 percent in taxes, levies and surcharges.

He goes through many countries that treat visitors and investors better. There are a range of countries that may be better for you, depending upon your finances, family and occupation. In fact, as Nomad Capitalist suggests more than one country. This includes, permanent residencies, second and third citizenships as well as where to invest, and bank with your money.

Some countries may surprise you, with Malaysia encouraging digital nomads, the Philippines encouraging those over 55 with regular income and many Eastern European countries offering lower tax rates if you live or base your business there. Essentially the world is your oyster and the Western countries, particularly Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Canada and the EU are becoming more and more draconian and continually increase their taxes.
