Fair warning! This is going to be a rant!

Let me start out by saying that I really, really hate Facebook. Well, more specifically, I hate Mark Zuckerturd and his Borg Collective with their hive mentality. If he would just go away and leave Facebook, along with his hive of assimilated drones, it might have a chance to be something better than it is.

The censorship, favoritism and liberal ass-kissing is bad enough. Being thrown into Facebook Jail has pretty much become a badge of honor. What really gripes me is their complete lack of engagement. With auto-bots, useless and confusing "support" pages, a magic Cloak of Invisibility hiding any valid numbers to call, email or fax and the company's complete lack of customer care, Facebook has sold it's soul and lost any form of humanity it may have once possessed.

Here's the funny thing... one of the big clues indicating that you are dealing with a scam company is their deliberate attempts to prevent you from contacting them. Everything with scammers is fake, or set up to be automated with a canned, robotic voice answering a phone number going through a Skype account. So, what is Zuckerberg hiding from? Why the lack of real, effective customer support? Is his greed such a sickness inside that he can't bear to use his vast wealth to create jobs for real, human people? You know, people who can actually answer phones or emails? I thought Zuck was in favor of creating ways for people to work at above minimum wage pay scales? Or maybe his ego is so huge, his narcissism so great, that he feels he is just way too important to be concerned about customer satisfaction. He forgets who put him at the top... the same peons he looks down his skinny nose at.

So, the catalyst behind my rant...

It was bad enough when someone hacked my Instagram account and took over control of it. My photography is copyrighted. Many of my images were of clients in the entertainment business. The hijacker was holding my images hostage. It took nearly NINE MONTHS for Instagram (Facebook owned) to block the hijacker after hundreds of page fans sent in complaints, including a few celebrity clients. However, they still did not remove the account, and they did not help me to get back into it.

Then, to my horror, I go to my professional photography business page at Facebook and see that the hijacker has also gained control of THIS account by claiming it as the owner! I was suddenly booted down to an admin position with no admin abilities. I could not post, delete, reply. I could do nothing as this complete stranger took control of my business, including attempts to use my money to pay for advertising. I tried everything I could to get Facebook to deal with this, to get my money-earning business back. Their so-called support system has recently been changed, turning it into a nightmarish and confusing maze where every "solution" leads to the same place.... NOWHERE! The only option I had open to me was to report MYSELF as a scammer, fraudster or impersonator.

I finally, FINALLY found one method of support where you would actually get an email from a living breathing HUMAN! It's a special request service to have the pages of dead or mentally disabled people removed. Their answer? "I'm sorry, but I do not work in the other support departments so I cannot help you!" I begged, pleaded, explained again that there was NO OTHER SUPPORT where one could reach a real human being. All I wanted was for them to put me in contact with someone who could help. Nope. They would not do it, basically telling me to "F-Off" in the politest way possible.

So, after running my photography business page on Facebook for 8 years, putting a lot of work into it and building a following, it is now GONE. After Facebook refused to remove the hijacker's control of my page, who managed to make herself the business OWNER, a person I did not know, I was left with only one option... remove all my hard work and lose clients. For most people this may not be a big deal. For me it was a financial lifeline. Due to being damaged by a prescription medication given to me by a doctor I am unable to work outside the home. Not only were my leg muscles destroyed, but so was my immune system, and I suffer permanent traumatic brain injury. I do not collect disability. I do not collect any form of assistance. I was building a decent photography clientele. My page led to a book publisher finding me and signing me on, based largely on my photography. Facebook business pages allowed me to advertise and promote myself. Now, because of Facebook's lack of support for their own product, I end up losing my page and clients.

Sadly, I am not the only one. Thousands of others are also desperately begging for help to get their pages back from hijackers. Like me, many relied on their page to support themselves through home businesses. But Zuckerberg, the All-Mighty god sitting on his throne, does not pay heed to their cries. These people mean nothing to him. If you haven't started a business page on Facebook, but have considered it, do yourself a favor... Don't! Do not trust something so important to Zuckerberg. Go to Wordpress instead. You might have to work a little harder to promote your site, but at least it is safer and Wordpress will treat you with more respect.

Personal message... Zuckerturd, you are the biggest, greediest asshole in Social Media. You lack any sort of moral integrity or common decency. I hope a closet Conservative in Silicon Valley builds a platform so much better that you and your little Empire crash and burn into obscurity.
