If you're the kind of person who likes getting some cash for little to no work, this app is definitely for you!
Microwork is a company that builds datasets to help artificial intelligence grow. If you don't know, a dataset is a gathering of elements of a same category, tagged as such, that you feed to an AI software to make it learn what elements of said category look like/sound like/act like and so on.
Microwork gathers these datasets with two entities: the Microwork App, on smartphones, and the Microwork Network website. This article will focus on the former, but I may write about the latter in another post if you're interested.
I can already hear you say: "Okay, that's great Pierre, but what exactly is this app, what do I need to do and how do I get paid?!"
1. Download the Microwork App from the App Store or the Play Store.
2. Create an account (only an email is needed)
3. Look for tasks that you can accomplish. On the app, the tasks are as simple as taking a picture of a specific object and uploading it. It can be anything, from an animal to a cigarette, your face, a package, a fruit, whatever they need at that time... The tasks are updated every now and then, so even if you don't have access to any of the current requested items, it won't be long before new tasks replace them.
4. Each photo is worth $0.05, that are added to your account as soon as the picture is approved. The approval process usually takes a few seconds to a few minutes, and depends on the framing, the focus, the blurriness, so on.
5. Once you reach a balance of $1, you can withdraw your earnings to your Ethereum wallet. As you can see on the picture above, I earned almost a third of that in one day, just by opening my fridge and sending a few pictures of things I had at that time, but with a little more work you could easily reach the threshold in a few minutes/hours.
I can testify that the payment is legit and processed within minutes.
And voila! It really is that easy!
