In this post I will describe the experience I had knowing 2 wineries and a tasting room in Valle de Uco./En este post describiré la experiencia que tuve conociendo 2 bodegas y un tasting room en Valle de Uco.

As my native country is Argentina i made the post in english and spanish for who that doesnt know english ,everytime you see this / means that changes the language! thanks !.

The first winery I met on this trip was the Zuccardi family, Finca Piedra Infinita. I do not know if it was good to go there first since I left the rod very high, it came out in 2019 as the best winery in South America and in the world .according to the world's best wineyards  and the truth is that from the first moment that the You see ,you realize that the award is well deserved, the architecture seeking to blend with the Andes mountains and the soil, achieve an incredible harmony in sight./

La primer bodega que conocí en este viaje fue la de la familia Zuccardi ,Finca Piedra Infinita. No sé si estuvo bien ir primero ahí ya que dejo la vara muy alta , salió en el 2019 como la mejor bodega de Sudamérica y del mundo según world's best wineyards y la verdad es que desde el primer momento en que la ves te das cuenta que tiene bien merecido el premio , la arquitectura buscando mimetizarse con las montañas de los Andes y el suelo, logran una armonía a la vista increíble.

The whole exterior is made with stones from the excavation for construction, and the name of the estate derives from a large stone that they left in their original place inside and built the cellar around it. The visit and tasting was great, our guide knew a lot and we learned a lot./

Todo el exterior está hecho con piedras de la excavación para la construcción, y el nombre de la finca deriva de una piedra de gran tamaño que dejaron en su lugar original adentro y construyeron alrededor de ella la cava. La visita y degustación fue genial , nuestra guía sabía muchísimo y aprendimos un montón.

At the time of the tasting (I who will have had 2 glasses of wine in my life) I never imagined that I could get to like wine so much, we tasted 3 varieties Zuccardi Q: Chardonnay 2018, Tempranillo 2014, Malbec 2018, all accompanied by a cheese board and figs.
The name of the farm refers to a poem that was inside the winery:/

A la hora de la degustación (yo que habré tomado 2 copas de vino en mí vida ) jamás imaginé que me podía llegar a gustar tanto el vino , degustamos 3 variedades Zuccardi Q :Chardonnay 2018, Tempranillo 2014 ,Malbec 2018 , todos acompañados de una tabla de quesos e higos .
El nombre de la finca hace referencia a un poema que estaba dentro de la bodega :

After the previous tasting, the vitinicola bus took us for 2 km to Cundo Altamira, a tasting room located on a family farm, with almost 100 years of history and which it has managed to maintain, transmitting love for its land.
A place where you can taste wines from local producers in a unique environment, we had the chance to taste 3 wines, from Finca La Igriega, Rosé Malbec 2019 (the one on the cover photo), Blend (Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot) 2018 and Solito va Malbec./

Después de la degustación anterior el bus vitinicola nos llevo por 2 km hasta Cundo Altamira un tasting room ubicado en una finca familiar, con casi 100 años de historia y que se ha sabido mantener, transmitiendo el amor por su tierra.
Un lugar donde se puede degustar vinos de productores de la zona en un entorno único, tuvimos la posibilidad de probar 3 vinos , de Finca La Igriega , Rosé Malbec 2019 (el de la foto de portada) , Blend ( Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc y Petit Verdot) 2018 y Solito va Malbec.

The attention was also excellent and it is an opportunity to taste wines of very little production that we rarely find elsewhere, this estate is also within the Uco valley (1,100 m asl) and as color data they are beginning to prove to be more agroecological in its vineyards leaving aside the agrochemicals./

La atención también fue excelente y es una oportunidad para probar vinos de muy poca producción que raramente encontramos en otros lados , está finca también está dentro del valle de Uco (1.100 m s. n. m.) y como dato de color están empezando a probar ser más agroecologicos en sus viñedos dejando de lado los agrotoxicos.

The last stop was Alfa Crux Wines, the emblematic winery of high-end wines from Argentina and the world symbol of the new Argentine wine due to its extraordinary architecture, it was acquired in 2018 by the Finca Agostino group./

La última parada fue Alfa Crux Wines , la bodega emblema de los vinos de alta gama de Argentina y símbolo mundial del nuevo vino argentino por su extraordinaria arquitectura, fue adquirida en 2018 por el grupo Finca Agostino.

Alfa Crux aims to produce high-quality wines with a strong terroir identity, in games limited by volume and by the expressive virtues of each vintage.
In this winery, in addition to the guided tour, we had a spectacular 6-step lunch:
* Cold apple soup - Beta Crux Malbec 2016.
* Pork sachets - Beta Crux Corte Uco II 2013
* Taboule in potato flower and black pudding chips - Alfa Crux Corte Uco 2011
* Veined loin with green aubergines - Alfa Crux Malbec 2012
* Watermelon sorbet * Brownie and peach ice cream - Sparkling Agostino Extra Brut

All this menu was carried out in the restaurant that they have inside the farm/

Alfa Crux apunta a elaborar vinos de alta calidad con una marcada identidad de terroir , en partidas limitadas por volumen y por las virtudes expresivas de cada cosecha.
En esta bodega además de la visita guiada tuvimos un espectacular almuerzo de 6 pasos :
*Sopa fría de manzana - Beta Crux Malbec 2016.
*Saquitos de cerdo - Beta Crux Corte Uco II 2013
*Taboule en flor de papa y chips de morcilla -  Alfa Crux Corte Uco 2011
*Lomo vetado con berenjenas verdes - Alfa Crux Malbec 2012
*Sorbete de sandía *Brownie y helado de durazno - Espumante Agostino Extra Brut

Todo este menu fue llevado a cabo en el restaurant que poseen dentro de la finca:

After lunch, we made a brief guided tour and one of the things that surprised me the most was the underground cellar, it is literally huge and they only use 25% of its capacity:/

Luego de la comida, realizamos una breve visita guiada y una de las cosas que más me sorprendió fue la cava subterránea , es literalmente enorme y solo usan 25 % de su capacidad:

After this last winery we returned with the bus to the city of Mendoza, The truth is that it is an experience to consider if you are traveling through Mendoza, it is a unique environment surrounded by friendly people, hopefully they have the opportunity to know that province of Argentina./

Luego de esta ultima bodega volvimos con el bus a la ciudad de Mendoza, La verdad es que es una experiencia a tener en cuenta si se encuentran de viaje por Mendoza, es un entorno unico rodeado de gente amable, ojala tengan la oportunidad de conocer esa provincia de Argentina.
