As you all know, the first thing I do when I open by Brave browser is to check how much BAT I have earned. I am so accustomed to looking at that number that I would know even if you change the tone of the font colour.
And, today something happened. Brave browser displayed one more digit after the dot. Normally, they would display two digits after the decimal but today they added another digit to make it three digits after the decimal. In addition to that, they also changed the number. I was supposed to receive 4.6 BAT by August 5 i.e. estimated earning. Now, it displays 3.240. That's the reduction of more than 1 BAT.
Do we have a reason? I could not find any explanation, as always. It must be something calculated. I always trust the Brave team but things like this. They can definitely improve their communication protocol and user interaction strategy.
UPDATE:
Just looked into the updates. It seems the new update the Brave team released - V1.11.97 introduced the three decimals to provide a round figure of the user earned BAT rewards. Here's a screenshot.
I am still not sure what happened with my previous BAT balance.
